Volunteer Benefits

  • Receive free health consultations from a team of student health care professionals
  • Share unique, personal experiences and concerns about the health care system
  • Assist firsthand in the education of health professions students

Volunteer Requirements

  • Be available for virtual home visits – student teams will meet with you via videoconference or phone (think telehealth)
  • Meet with students four times throughout the year – twice in the fall semester and twice in the spring semester
  • Discuss health information – families will maintain a line of communication with their assigned team and help students learn by providing them with feedback on health related issues
